Meet Christina Ryan
Christina Ryan is a Lead Texture Artist at Industrial Light & Magic, where she brings characters, worlds, and environments to life through surface, color, and storytelling. With more than a decade in 3D, she has contributed to major films while refining an approach built on curiosity and detail. Christina believes every texture carries a story, revealing age, purpose, and emotion through the intentional placement of marks, patterns, and material choices.
For her Art of Golf design, Christina drew inspiration from nighttime golf and the neon-lit energy of Korea’s golf courses. She created a cyber-inspired bag featuring glowing cables, translucent pockets with animated binary patterns, metallic fabrics, and a digital display built into the front. The result is a concept that merges sport with technology, offering a vision of how light and movement and data can reshape the atmosphere of the modern game.
