Crushers GC heads into the 2026 season motivated to avenge last year's Team Championship playoff loss to Legion XIII. The Crushers are the only team in the league who have had the same team since the league’s inception and will bring back the familiar roster for the fifth consecutive season.
2026 ROSTER
Bryson DeChambeau (captain), 31, United States. LIV Golf starts (45); Best result (1st)
Paul Casey, 48, England. LIV Golf starts (43); Best result (T2)
Anirban Lahiri, 38, India. LIV Golf starts (42); Best result (2nd)
Charles Howell III, 46, United States. LIV Golf starts (40); Best result (1st)
OFFSEASON NEWS
It was a quiet offseason for the Crushers, who are relying on team chemistry and consistency rather than roster moves to win another Team Championship in 2026. DeChambeau continued his “Break 50” series on YouTube as well as plenty of additional social media content.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHTS
Bryson DeChambeau: DeChambeau is one of the best players in the world and has the capability of challenging Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann for the individual title. With the move to 72 holes, he should have more opportunities to win events than he has in years past. DeChambeau should also be a factor in major championships. The two-time U.S. Open champion has been the best performer in majors on LIV Golf over the past three seasons, and always among the favorites on the biggest stage.
Paul Casey: Casey is arguably the best player on LIV Golf who’s yet to register an individual win. The Englishman is still a flusher who led the league in Strokes Gained: Approach last season and has shown no signs of regression in the ball-striking department. On shorter courses where accuracy is more important than distance, Casey can still compete with the elite players on LIV Golf.
Anirban Lahiri: No player on LIV Golf has suffered as much heartbreak over the last four seasons than Lahiri, who has five runner-up finishes. The veteran has played some excellent golf to get himself in position to win but has either played poorly or endured some unlucky breaks in those situations. Lahiri has been a steady and reliable contributor for the Crushers and will challenge for a spot in the lock zone.
Charles Howell III: Howell III is a steady veteran who has served as a strong fit alongside the Crushers both on and off the golf course. He’s not long off the tee like his captain, but what he lacks in distance; he makes up for with accuracy. Howell III is a still a strong wedge player who can score effectively from 150 yards and in.

WHAT THE STATS SUGGEST
The Crushers have been elite in eliminating mistakes, ranking T1 (alongside Legion XIII) in rounds over par at just 14%. They led the league in scrambling, showing the ability to get up and down from most spots and avoiding costly bogeys. Interestingly, despite having the league’s longest hitter, they ranked sixth in driving distance and second in driving accuracy.
WHERE CAN THEY IMPROVE?
The Crushers have been a solid par-5 scoring team (fourth last year), but that could be even better. With DeChambeau’s length and Casey’s superb long iron play, the team could certainly take advantage of more par 5s over the course of the season. They could also make a few more putts in 2026, as no player on the team ranked better than 18th on the season in Strokes Gained: Putting.
KEY QUOTES
Bryson DeChambeau on keeping the same Crushers roster: "Keeping this core together for 2026 positions us to build on the momentum we carried out of 2025. This group knows what it takes to win; we lifted the trophy in 2023 and finished second last season, and that experience fuels our drive to compete at the top week in and week out."
Bryson DeChambeau on his teammates in 2026: “I want my guys to compete individually a little bit more. I think they can do it. They're good enough. They're certainly wise enough, if that's the right word to use. They’re certainly wise enough to do so, and they've won on numerous tours.”
Bryson DeChambeau on how YouTube golf helps him prepare for tournament golf: “It's funny, YouTube has been awesome to do Course Record series, Break 50s with great guests and athletes, and it's kept my mind focused on playing good golf. No matter what challenge I'm doing -- even in the Caddie Talks, I'm still trying to play my best golf. So when I go into these, I still have to play really good without much practice or preparation.”
BOTTOM LINE
The Crushers will enter 2026 as one of the top three teams in the league on paper and should contend once again for the Team Championship. DeChambeau was good last season, but it stands to reason that he will be even better going forward. They are, however, one of the older teams in the league and must capitalize on their window to contend now.
THREE BOLD PREDICTIONS
-
DeChambeau wins The Masters.
-
Casey will win a professional event.
-
The Crushers will win at least two team titles.
