Mickelson, a six-time major champion who spent more than 25 years in the world top 50, joined LIV Golf in 2022 and has helped shape the league’s identity as HyFlyers GC captain. A World Golf Hall of Fame member, his 45 PGA Tour wins rank eighth all-time. When he emerged victorious at the 2021 PGA Championship, he became the oldest major winner at age 50. Popular and charismatic, “Lefty” is still one of the biggest names in the sport.

Cameron Tringale

Cameron Tringale

United States flag

Tringale, like teammates Phil Mickelson and Brendan Steele, is a native of California. He joined HyFlyers GC midway through the first season of LIV Golf in 2022 and is consistently one of the best putters in the league. Tringale deserves to be known as one of the most principled golfers in the game; several days after the 2014 PGA Championship, he retroactively disqualified himself for signing an incorrect scorecard — and did the same during the event in 2020.

Brendan Steele

Brendan Steele

United States flag

Steele holds a place in the LIV record books, becoming the first golfer to make an albatross in League history. The stunning moment came in the second round at Greenbrier in August of 2024, when he sank his approach shot on the 17th hole, a daunting par 5 of 615 yards. Earlier that season, Steele won a LIV title in Adelaide, marking the first individual victory by a HyFlyers player.

Michael La Sasso

Michael La Sasso

United States flag

The youngest player on LIV Golf's 2026 roster, La Sasso joined HyFlyers GC after winning the 2025 NCAA Division I Individual Men’s Golf Championship. La Sasso captured the title with an 11-under total, becoming just the second champion in University of Mississippi history. His breakout 2025 campaign included First Team All-American and First Team All-SEC honors, finalist nods for both the Jack Nicklaus Division I Player of the Year and the Haskins Award, as well as the lowest single-season scoring average in Ole Miss history (69.48).
