MyGolf Powered by Ripper GC Welcomes Grace Kim as Standalone Female Ambassador

Ripper GC's partnership with MyGolf just got a whole lot bigger.
Grace Kim — major champion, LPGA Tour star, and one of the most exciting names in Australian golf — has been named the standalone female ambassador of MyGolf Powered by Ripper GC, Golf Australia's national junior program for kids aged 5–12.
The timing couldn't be better. Girls' participation in MyGolf is up 27% year-on-year, growing at twice the rate of boys, with girls now making up a third of the program's 40,000-plus annual participants. Kim is the right person to keep that momentum going.
The 25-year-old Sydneysider knows what it means to dream big and deliver. Last year she claimed the Amundi Evian Championship in a playoff on French soil, breaking through for her first major title. She followed it up as part of Australia's International Crown-winning team in Korea and reached a career-high world ranking of No. 21. She picked up a golf club for the first time at age 10 — the same age many of today's MyGolf kids are just getting started.
"I'm incredibly proud to become an ambassador for MyGolf Powered by Ripper GC," said Kim. "Golf has given me so much, and I'm passionate about showing young girls and boys just how fun and rewarding the game can be. It's a sport you can play for life, and I hope through my ambassadorship I can help inspire more kids to give it a go. MyGolf has introduced golf to thousands of Aussie girls and boys to our sport. It's the perfect pathway for young Aussies to pick up a golf club for the very first time."

Kim joins a roster that already includes Ripper GC's own Cam Smith, Elvis Smylie, Marc Leishman, and Lucas Herbert in backing the program.
Chris Crabbe, Acting General Manager of Participation at Golf Australia, said: "Grace is an incredible role model. She is a proven winner on the world stage, and as our standalone female ambassador, she is going to help us inspire more girls, as well as boys, across the country to play golf. With nine in 10 MyGolf participants continuing to play after completion of the program and 18% becoming club members in the future, it shows how important the program is for Australian golf."
Kim will be involved in junior clinics, digital content, and national campaigns throughout her ambassadorship.
