AUGUSTA, Ga. – Ten LIV Golf players were part of the original field of 91 at the 2026 Masters, including Southern Guards GC member and 2011 champion Charl Schwartzel.

Here’s a look at each of his four rounds.

Rd. 4 score: 3-over 75 (12-over total)

Round 4: Schwartzel endured a difficult start to his final round, slipping to 4 over through his first four holes. He regrouped impressively from there, settling into a better rhythm and picking up three birdies over the remainder of his round to limit the damage to a 3-over 75. Schwartzel finished the tournament in 54th place at 12 over.

Despite the challenging week, he continues to show consistency at the Masters, making the cut for the seventh time in his last eight appearances.

"Yeah, look, a lot of the good was really good, but unfortunately I hit two balls in no man's land and cost me double bogeys," Schwartzel said. "I actually played much better today, but that start, 4 over after four holes, doesn't really set the tone very well for the day."

Round 3: Schwartzel struggled in the third round, carding a 5-over 77 that included a costly double bogey on the 10th hole. The Southern Guards GC veteran now sits at 9 over for the tournament, dropping further down the leaderboard heading into the final round.

"I think over a career you're going to have a lot more bad luck on this course, or you're going to feel that way," Schwartzel said. "Like I say, I was fortunate to have that one week off where things did go my way."

Round 2: Schwartzel shot a 1-over 73 to sit at 4 over through two rounds to make the cut on the number. On Friday, he made five birdies but also had one double bogey and four bogeys.

"A lot of up and down," Schwartzel said. "Made five birdies today. But, yeah, gave away too many shots. Yeah, more than yesterday. Today was poor mistakes and can't really afford to do that around here."

Round 1: Schwartzel opened his Masters bid with a bogey on the first hole and followed with four straight pars before notching his first birdie of the day on the par-3 sixth. The 2011 Masters champion then dropped back-to-back bogeys on the ninth and 10th holes. In the end, Schwartzel struggled to a 3-over 75 on a tough opening day at Augusta National.

“Yeah, course is tough. It's firm,” Schwartzel said. “There was a few tough pin placements. Didn't really feel like I played that badly. You know, didn't make enough key 12-footers. I had a few opportunities on 12-footers and missed.”
