Southern Guards GC era begins in Riyadh; Grace has top-10 finish

In the team's first competition as the newly branded Southern Guards GC, it finished T8 (-44) at ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh to open the 2026 season. The four-day event was the league’s first 72-hole regular-season tournament.
Branden Grace excelled in the final two rounds to finish T9 (-17).
Captain Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel ended up T30 (-11) and Dean Burmester was T51 (-5).
