Louis Oosthuizen

Born in Mossel Bay, Oosthuizen captains the all-South African Southern Guards GC. He won the 2010 Open Championship and has finished runner-up in all four majors. With one of the smoothest swings in the game, the former world No. 4 helped his team finish third in the 2025 LIV Golf Team Championship.

Charl Schwartzel

Schwartzel is assured of his place in the LIV Golf history books thanks to his victory in the inaugural event in London in 2022. The 2011 Masters champion and former world No. 6, he has won 16 professional tournaments worldwide. Born in Johannesburg, Schwartzel first played alongside his Southern Guards GC captain Louis Oosthuizen in 2000, when they teamed up in the Eisenhower Trophy.

Dean Burmester

A prolific winner on the Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour, Burmester joined LIV in 2023. The Zimbabwe native has LIV titles in each of the past two seasons, in Miami in 2024 when he beat Sergio Garcia in a playoff and in Chicago in 2025 when he emerged victorious in a three-way playoff. Burmester has improved his position in the individual standings in each of his first three LIV seasons, going from 14th to ninth to fifth.

Branden Grace

Grace made history in 2017 when he recorded the lowest score ever in a men’s major, shooting a 62 in the third round of the Open Championship (a feat that has been tied since). The Pretoria native is a nine-time winner on the European Tour, with the first four of those titles coming in the same year (2012). He won the first LIV Golf event held in the United States in Portland in 2022. That year, he finished runner-up to Dustin Johnson in the overall Individual Standings.
