Originally opened in 2002, the course underwent a major redesign in 2019 led by renowned architect Rees Jones, elevating it to professional tournament standards. The redesign focused on improving playability for all skill levels while maintaining a high level of challenge for elite players. Today, the course serves as a host venue for major international tournaments, including the LPGA BMW Ladies Championship, and is recognized as the first LPGA-branded facility outside the United States.
