LIV Golf Las Vegas Red-Carpet Party

LAS VEGAS – On Saturday afternoon, Dustin Johnson (individual champion) and Brooks Koepka’s Smash GC (team champions) celebrated their LIV Golf Las Vegas victories before a packed crowd around the 18th green at Las Vegas Country Club.

That evening, the party continued a couple of miles away at an exclusive red-carpet event at The Wynn with the Official LIV Golf Las Vegas Party presented by Flecha Azul.

It was the final event of a hugely successful week in Las Vegas, as LIV Golf’s world-class players hobnobbed with celebrities, influencers and athletes from other sports in an intimate setting. The party host was Mark Wahlberg, the Oscar-nominated actor and golf fanatic who’s a fan of the LIV Golf product.

“It’s making it accessible to everyone,” Wahlberg said of LIV Golf. “Making it more fun.”

Rachel Stuhlmann, the world’s No. 1 tennis influencer, said she enjoyed attending her first LIV Golf event. “It felt like a party from the second I stepped on the grounds,” she said.

Among the other celebrities attending: Joey Fatone from the band NSYNC, former baseball star Johnny Damon, former U.S. National Team soccer goalie Tim Howard, and former NBA player Chandler Parsons.

Having LIV Golf Las Vegas during the same week as Super Bowl LVIII certainly made for a memorable week for the players. Many of them attended the game on Sunday.

“It’s been great,” said Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm. “We get to experienced events that in the past I haven’t. It’s kind of cool. This week has been crazy.”

An ice sculpture provided luge shots of Flecha Azul Tequila, the brand in which Wahlberg is an investor and co-founded by LIV Golf star Abraham Ancer and his long-time friend Aron Marquez. Attendees could also try out signature drinks with various flavors of Flecha Azul Tequila, such as Reposado, Añejo and Blanco.

“I’m a really big fan of Abe’s tequila,” said Ripper GC Captain Cameron Smith. “I’ve tried it and I’ve dealt with it a few times.

Lil Wayne capped off the evening as the party’s headline entertainer after an earlier performance by Gryffin revved up the crowd.

“It’s nuts,” Majesticks GC Co-Captain Ian Poulter said. “When you look at us playing in Las Vegas, finishing on Saturday, Super Bowl on Sunday – the hotels, the casinos, the nightclubs, they’re packed already getting ready for tomorrow – it’s a spectacle.”
