LIV Golf players Bryson DeChambeau and Tyrrell Hatton are confirmed for their respective Ryder Cup teams for next month’s showdown at Bethpage Black in New York.

The qualification period for the U.S. team ended Sunday with the top six players mathematically qualifying. Despite playing just eight qualifying events – the majors the past two seasons – DeChambeau was able to accumulate enough points to finish sixth in the standings. He won the U.S. Open in 2024, finished second two other times and had three other top 10s in those majors.

Although his LIV Golf results were not included in the process, the Crushers GC captain had a stellar season in 2025, winning in Korea and finishing third in the season-long Individual Championship race.

DeChambeau will be making his third Ryder Cup appearance and first since 2021 when he posted a 2-0-1 record, partnering twice with Scottie Scheffler – including a draw against Hatton and his Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm in fourballs.

“Bryson is going to be a very important piece to us winning the Ryder Cup,” USA Captain Keegan Bradley told Sports Illustrated last month.

Other Americans earning roster spots are Scheffler, JJ Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley and Harris English.

The European team’s qualification period ends this Sunday, but Hatton has already accumulated enough points to guarantee his placement in the top six who will qualify on merit.

Hatton is currently fifth in points. Like DeChambeau, he was able to qualify despite playing fewer events than the other qualifiers. During the qualifying period, Hatton won two events – the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and the Dubai Desert Classic – and produced his career-best finish in a major, a tie for fourth at this year’s U.S. Open.

This will be Hatton’s fourth Ryder Cup appearance; he went 3-0-1 in his last appearance two years ago as Europe won in Rome. He won both his foursomes matches that week while partnering with Rahm.

“Securing a fourth straight Ryder Cup place underlines what a consistent performer Tyrrell is, and we’ll once again welcome his passion and experience to Team Europe,” said European captain Luke Donald.

The other European players who also have secured spots are Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Robert MacIntyre. Shane Lowry enters the final qualifying week hoping to wrap up the remaining qualifying spot.

Each captain will fill out the remainder of his 12-player lineup in the upcoming weeks. Rahm, the two-time LIV Golf Individual Champion who finished the 2025 regular season by shooting a 11-under 60 at LIV Golf Indianapolis on Sunday to overtake Joaquin Niemann in the points standings, is expected to receive strong consideration.

The Ryder Cup will be played Sept. 26-28.
