Defining moments from each of LIV Golf's first 50 tournaments

Sunday’s playoff win by Legion XIII over Crushers GC at the Michigan Team Championship marked the conclusion of the 50th tournament in LIV Golf history. That’s 138 regular-season stroke-play rounds, eight Team Championship match-play rounds and four Team Championship stroke play final rounds. In all, 150 days of action since the LIV Golf London debut event in June 2022.

Here's a look at the defining moments from each of the first 50 LIV Golf tournaments:

2022

1. London: Dustin Johnson launches the first tee shot off the first hole as LIV Golf makes its debut as a sports league, with the South African Stinger GC sweeping the podium.

2. Portland: The team competition of LIV Golf’s first American-based tournament is won by Johnson’s 4Aces GC, the first of four consecutive wins in a dominant first season.

3. Bedminster: After being stripped of his Ryder Cup captaincy for joining LIV Golf, a motivated and defiant Henrik Stenson wins in his debut.

4. Boston: The first playoff in LIV Golf history is won by Dustin Johnson , who makes a lengthy eagle putt on the first extra hole to defeat Anirban Lahiri and Joaquin Niemann.

5. Chicago: Just two months after winning The Open Championship, Australian Cameron Smith becomes the first reigning major winner to win a LIV Golf event.

6. Bangkok: LIV Golf makes its first appearance in Asia at a brand-new golf course in Thailand, Stonehill.

7. Jeddah: Brooks Koepka wins his first LIV Golf tournament in a playoff, an emotional return to the winner’s circle after battling health issues that threatened his career.

8. Miami Team Championship: Dustin Johnson and his 4Aces GC complete their remarkable season of success, adding the Team Championship to Johnson’s season-long Individual title after a tense final round.

2023

9. Mayakoba: Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC wins for the first time as a team, with Charles Howell III adding the individual title.

10. Tucson: The league’s largest playoff to date includes four players, with Danny Lee draining the winning putt on the third extra hole in just his second LIV Golf start.

11. Orlando: Florida native Brooks Koepka wins a professional event for the first time in his home state.

12. Adelaide: Brooks’ brother Chase Koepka unleashes a wild celebration at the Watering Hole with his hole-in-one in the final round in LIV Golf’s Australian debut.

13. Singapore: After winning in Adelaide in the previous tournament, Talor Gooch becomes the first player to win back-to-back starts, beating Sergio Garcia in a playoff.

14. Tulsa: Playing in his native Oklahoma, Talor Gooch was going for three straight wins but it’s his former 4Aces GC Captain Dustin Johnson who earns the victory in a playoff.

15. DC: Harold Varner III birdies the final hole to win his first individual title on LIV Golf.

16. Valderrama: Talor Gooch wins for the third time in five starts, outdueling Bryson DeChambeau in LIV Golf’s first visit to the iconic Spanish course.

17. London: A finish of mixed emotions for Cameron Smith, who wins the individual title but bogeys the final hole as his Ripper GC comes one shot short of forcing LIV Golf’s first team playoff.

18. Greenbrier: Bryson DeChambeau, fueled by a driver change, produces LIV Golf’s most historic round, a 12-under 58 with birdies on his final four holes. It comes on the heels of a second-round 61 in what would be a 21-under weekend.

19. Bedminster: Cameron Smith blows away the field, winning by a LIV Golf-record seven strokes, with his Ripper GC winning the team trophy by 11 strokes.

20. Chicago: Continuing his final-round magic, Bryson DeChambeau wins his second individual title with a final-round 63.

21. Jeddah: Talor Gooch loses a playoff to Brooks Koepka but wins the season-long Individual Championship race to complete his breakout season.

22. Miami Team Championship: Bryson DeChambeau’s incredible birdie after hitting over a hospitality tent becomes the signature moment in his Crushers GC's Team Championship victory.

2024

23. Mayakoba: Jon Rahm and his Legion XIII expansion team debut with a win, while Joaquin Niemann – who opened the season by shooting 59 – outlasts his idol Sergio Garcia in a thrilling four-hole playoff, clinching his first LIV Golf win with a clutch birdie as darkness fell.

24. Las Vegas: Dustin Johnson earns his third LIV Golf victory at Las Vegas Country Club, edging out Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein by one stroke to earn the victory on the Super Bowl weekend in Vegas.

25. Jeddah: Joaquin Niemann wins his second LIV Golf title with a commanding four shot victory while Anthony Kim makes his return to competitive golf after 12 years.

26. Hong Kong: After almost blowing a five-shot lead, Abraham Ancer wins his first LIV title in a three-man playoff against Cameron Smith and Paul Casey.

27. Miami: Dean Burmester wins his first LIV title in a two-hole playoff against Sergio Garcia, sealed with a par on the second extra hole as Garcia found water.

28. Adelaide: The first team playoff in LIV Golf’s history couldn’t be more epic, as the home favorites Ripper GC defeats Stinger GC in a highly charged atmosphere, then celebrate on the podium with shoeys.

29. Singapore: Brooks Koepka wins his record-setting fourth LIV Golf title with a score of 15 under, beating Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman by two shots.

30. Houston: Cleeks Golf Club becomes the last of the original 12 teams to celebrate a victory of any kind (team or individual) by winning the team title with a commanding 33 under performance.

31. Nashville: Bryson DeChambeau makes his first start after winning the U.S. Open, but it’s Legion XIII’s Tyrrell Hatton who emerges with his first LIV Golf individual trophy.

32. Andalucía: Sergio Garcia wins his first LIV Golf individual title in his home country in a playoff against Anirban Lahiri with a par on the second extra hole, while his Fireballs GC also clinched the team championship in a simultaneous playoff, marking a well-received double victory.

33. United Kingdom: Jon Rahm claims his first LIV Golf individual title, edging out three players, including his teammate Tyrrell Hatton by one stroke.

34. Greenbrier: Brooks Koepka wins his second title of the season and then-record fifth LIV Golf win in a playoff against Jon Rahm.

35. Chicago: Jon Rahm wins individual championship in his first LIV Golf season in what becomes the first of back-to-back duels with Joaquin Niemann for the season-long title.

36. Dallas Team Championship: The lowest-seed team, Iron Heads GC, plays Cinderella with two match-play upsets before Ripper GC wins the Team Championship.

2025

37. Riyadh: LIV Golf opens the 2025 season under the lights with night golf in its first visit to Saudi Arabia’s capital.

38. Adelaide: LIV Golf sets a new attendance record of 102,483, setting the bar for all other host cities.

39. Hong Kong: Sergio Garcia clinched the individual title with a dramatic final-round surge, while Fireballs GC secured their second consecutive team victory.

40. Singapore: Joaquin Niemann delivered a dominant performance, winning the individual title with a score of -17, while Fireballs GC clinched their third consecutive team title.

41. Miami: In difficult scoring conditions at Doral’s Blue Monster course, Ripper GC’s Marc Leishman earns his first LIV Golf individual win.

42. Mexico City: Joaquin Niemann wins the event and clinches the first ever LIV Golf U.S. Open exemption.

43. Korea: Bryson DeChambeau and his Crushers GC dominate.

44. Virginia: Phil Mickelson produces a miraculous chip-in on the 17th hole in the final round at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

45. Dallas: Patrick Reed wins in his home state of Texas for the first time of his career with a birdie putt in a 4-man playoff.

46. Andalucía: Talor Gooch gets his first win since 2023.

47. United Kingdom: Joaquin Niemann earns his fifth victory of the season and in his first start after changing his caddie and coach.

48. Chicago: Dean Burmester wins the individual title and helps Stinger GC end its two-year drought with the team win.

49. Indianapolis: Jon Rahm loses a playoff to Sebastian Munoz – whose makes history with 14 birdies in an opening-round 59 – but successfully defends his season-long Individual Championship with a final-round 60 as LIV Golf set a new United States attendance record of more than 60,000 fans.

50. Michigan Team Championship: An epic battle between Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII and Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC goes to a playoff, with Legion XIII winning on the second extra hole.
