LIV Golf continues the final stretch of the season at this week’s LIV Golf New York, the 11th tournament of the 2026 schedule.

RETURN TO BEDMINSTER

It’s been nearly three years since Ripper GC Captain Cameron Smith won his last LIV Golf individual title. His 2023 victory at Bedminster remains the largest margin of victory for any individual winner in league history, as he finished at 12 under to beat Anirban Lahiri by seven strokes.

Smith and 32 other players who were in the field that week will return for this week’s LIV Golf New York at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

“It’s always nice going back to a place you’ve played well before,” Smith said.

Smith and his Rippers claimed both trophies in 2023, and they’ll enter this week with plenty of momentum after sweeping the trophies at LIV Golf United Kingdom presented by JCB.

Lucas Herbert posted his second wire-to-wire victory in his last four LIV Golf starts, shooting a record-setting 30 under to win by six strokes. Smith added a solo fourth – his best result of the season – as the Rippers won for the third time in 2026 as they chase points leader 4Aces GC.

In addition to Smith’s win in 2023, veteran teammate Marc Leishman tied for seventh. Asked what he remembers about Bedminster, Smith replied that “the golf course was so good, and it was so hard. … You had to hit fairways, and you had to scramble good – and I was able to do that that week.”

While Smith, Leishman and reserve player Travis Smyth (filling in for injured Elvis Smylie) are familiar with Bedminster, Herbert is playing it for the first time. Smith is confident that his team can continue its hot streak.

“I think Australians in general like really tough golf courses – and this one is probably one of the toughest ones we’ll have on the schedule all year,” Smith said. “Can’t wait to get back there.”

LIV Golf is returning to Trump National Bedminster for the first time since 2023

The course hosted LIV Golf tournaments in each of the first two years of the league, with Cameron Smith (individual) and Ripper GC (team) winning in 2023; the previous year, Henrik Stenson (individual) and 4Aces GC (team) took home the trophies

Famed architect Tom Fazio designed the course, which debuted in 2004

The course has been ranked among the top 100 courses in America on multiple occasions by Golf magazine, while Golf Digest ranked it among the top 5 best new private courses in 2009 and 2010

The course hosted the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open won by Korea’s Sung Hyun Park

At 7,651 yards, the course is the second-longest played through the first 11 tournaments of the 2026 season; only Trump National Washington D.C. is longer (7,679 yards)

Grass types include Bentgrass for fairways and greens, Kentucky Bluegrass for rough and Sheeps Fescue for native rough

Numerous bird nesting boxes supplied by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have been placed throughout the property, with a focus to attract North America’s smallest falcon, the American kestrel

The Metropolitan Golf Association honored the club with its National Environmental Award in 2007

CHANGES SINCE 2023

Although the routing for this week’s LIV Golf New York remains the same as the league’s last visit to Bedminster in 2023, there are a handful of changes.

Total course yardage has been lengthened by more than 125 yards, primarily due to these adjustments:

• Hole 9 (par 4) – Playing a new tee that is 64 yards longer than before
• Hole 13 (par 4) – Playing a tee that is 42 yards longer
• Hole 16 (par 3) – Playing a tee that is 31 yards longer than before
