LIV Golf appoints new wave of Regional Managing Directors and commercial leaders to drive worldwide growth

Strategic hires strengthen local event market delivery, connection, and regional impact across 14 events in 10 countries and five continents for the 2026 season
NEW YORK - LIV Golf, the global golf league blending world-class competition with entertainment and culture to grow the game worldwide, today announced the appointment of a new team of Regional Managing Directors and Regional Commercial Leads, reinforcing its long-term commitment to operating as the world’s golf league with strong local delivery, as it continues to expand its presence across key markets worldwide.
As LIV Golf continues to expand its international footprint in 2026, with a global calendar spanning 14 events across 10 countries and five continents, these senior appointments are designed to strengthen on-the-ground leadership and local presence in key markets.
Embedded across eight countries and territories, LIV Golf’s Regional Managing Directors will drive meaningful corporate, community and commercial impact. They will be responsible for growing local event partnerships, increasing fan engagement, and building strong relationships with government partners, community organizations, and golf federations.
The roles also oversee all aspects of regional event delivery, from commercial growth and local partnerships to event operations and fan experience and market-specific marketing strategies, ensuring LIV Golf’s global vision is delivered with genuine local market relevance. The appointments form a key pillar of the League’s business transformation strategy, expanding the organisation led by Chris Heck, LIV Golf President of Business Operations, with a new network of commercially focused regional leaders.
The new Regional Managing Directors will be responsible for leading LIV Golf’s presence in- market, working closely with teams, venues, partners and local stakeholders to deliver world-class events and ensure long-term market development.
Regional Managing Directors appointed are:
· Chris Bentley, Regional Managing Director, South Africa
· Federico Valdez, Regional Managing Director, Mexico
· Ben Slack, Regional Managing Director, Australia
· Faisal Al-Jedea, Regional Managing Director, Saudi Arabia
· Martin Kim, Regional Managing Director, Korea, in addition to serving as Team General Manager of Korean Golf Club
LIV Golf has also strengthened its commercial leadership with new roles focused on unlocking sustainable growth, deepening partner relationships and aligning global commercial strategy with local market opportunity.
