Top Spanish Subscription Platform Will Air LIV Golf Tournaments Featuring Jon Rahm, Sergio Garcia and Many of Golf's Biggest Stars

LONDON, NEW YORK, West Palm Beach, Fla. — LIV Golf has announced a new partnership with Movistar Plus+ to broadcast the league’s 2024 and 2025 tournaments on Spain’s biggest streaming platform. LIV Golf’s schedule will feature 14 events in eight different countries, including a return visit to Andalucía, Spain in July. League competition kicks off Friday, February 2 with LIV Golf Mayakoba in Mexico.

Movistar Plus+ is the premiere provider of golf content in Spain, with exclusive Golf and Golf 2 channels, featuring the most complete programming hosted by golf experts. LIV Golf’s 2024 tournaments add to Movistar Plus+’s existing golf offerings, including the Ryder Cup, The Masters, The U.S. Open, The British Open, The PGA Championship, PGA Tour events, DP World Tour events, the Solheim Cup and the five women’s Majors.

LIV Golf’s global field features many of the sport’s biggest names including reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm and 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia, as well as Spanish compatriots David Puig and Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra. The league’s star-studded teams include 2023 LIV Golf Individual Champion Talor Gooch (Smash GC), 2020 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau (2023 Team Champions Crushers GC), 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith (Ripper GC), 2023 PGA Championship winner and five-time major champion Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), six-time major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson (HyFlyers GC), two-time major winners Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Bubba Watson (RangeGoats GC) and Martin Kaymer (Cleeks GC), and many more.

Movistar Plus+ continues to be a key player in the growth and sustainability of sport, working on each project with leading partners worldwide. The agreement with LIV Golf is added to the great partnerships with LaLiga and UEFA, more than 25 years of leading basketball to a new category with the ACB, NBA and EuroLeague, access to all DAZN content since last year, the exclusive broadcasting of the NFL, the great agreements with Discovery to broadcast tennis, the return of the NHL, the broadcasting of the WPT, the Tour, as well as the partnership with Eurosport, Rugby and the main events in the world of Golf.
