This week, 15 LIV Golf players will be playing in The International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus on the Asian Tour. This marks the sixth of nine elevated events on the Asian Tour calendar which offer a pathway onto LIV Golf for the end-of-season International Series Rankings champion.

THE INTERNATIONAL SERIES PHILIPPINES PRESENTED BY BINGOPLUS

The International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus will be played Oct. 23-26 at Sta. Elena Golf Club, nestled in the idyllic Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Construction of the golf course began in 1992, with the course fully operational by 1995. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. design was the Philippines’ first all-weather course, using Tiff Eagle dwarf Bermudagrass for its greens. The club, which is a par 72 that measures 7,303 yards, has been featured on Golf Digest’s "100 Best Golf Courses Outside the United States" list for 2005-2006 and 2009-2010.

RICHARD BLAND. Bland will be making his first start since the 2025 LIV Golf season ended. While the 52-year-old didn’t quite replicate the success of his previous three seasons on LIV Golf, where he finished in the Lock Zone each year, he had a solid season, finishing 27th in the season-long standings. Bland had four top-10 finishes, the most of any Cleeks Golf Club player.

DEAN BURMESTER. The last time we saw Burmester, he missed the cut at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. The Stinger GC star struggled with his irons that week, losing 1.48 strokes per round to the field. This should serve as a bounce-back spot for Burmester, who’s had success in Asia both on LIV Golf and on the Asian Tour. Last year, he finished T5 at the International Series Qatar.

SAM HORSFIELD. After a LIV Golf season where Horsfield produced only one top-10 finish, the 29-year-old will look to make some noise on the International Series. He had a strong performance at the International Series Japan back in May, finishing T7.

DUSTIN JOHNSON. The 4Aces GC captain will be making his first International Series outside of the Saudi International. At the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Johnson’s performance was reminiscent of his 2025 LIV Golf season, where he’d play incredibly well for a stretch but fail to put it all together for an entire tournament.

ANTHONY KIM. Kim plans to play every remaining International Series event in an effort to earn a LIV Golf spot back after being relegated following the 2025 season. Two weeks ago, he played in the Asian Tour’s Jakarta International Championship, finishing T44.

FREDRIK KJETTRUP. After being relegated from LIV Golf following the season, the struggles continued for Kjettrup. The 25-year-old finished T138 in his most recent start at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

JINICHIRO KOZUMA. After an incredible mid-season stretch where Kozuma posted back-to-back top-10 finishes at Dallas and Andalucia, he fell out of form towards the end of the season, finishing 40th or worse in each of the last three individual events. Since then, Kozuma has made three starts on the Asian Tour and Japan Tour, missing the cut in all three of them.

DANNY LEE. Lee is looking to regain some form, as the Iron Heads GC stalwart posted only one top-10 finish all season, which came at LIV Golf Miami (T9). Last year, Lee played in three International Series events without making a cut.

CHIEH-PO LEE. Lee has made three starts on the Asian Tour since the LIV Golf season ended, with his most recent at the Jakarta International Championship resulting in an impressive T11 finish. Last year, Lee won the International Series Thailand.

MARC LEISHMAN. Leishman enjoyed some time off before playing in last week’s Western Australia Open, where he made his return to Perth after a 20-year absence from playing professionally in the area. It was a successful week for Leishman. He finished T3 while looking to gear up for December’s Australian Open where he’ll be seeking his maiden victory at the event.

KEVIN NA. The Iron Heads GC captain had a poor 2025 season and failed to record a top-10 finish all season. His 44th place finish in the season-long standings was his worst finish in his four years on LIV Golf. The 42-year-old will be making his first start on the International Series since the 2024 Saudi International.

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN. The Stinger GC captain is fresh off a stellar performance at the Alfred Dunhill Links, where he finished T11 after being in contention throughout most of the event. Oosthuizen made three starts on the International Series last year, finishing runner-up in Oman and T3 in Qatar.

PATRICK REED. Reed has been incredibly active since the LIV Golf season ended and will be making his fifth start. He’s made the cut in all four of his starts with two being inside the top-20 including a T3 finish at Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship. Reed played in the International Series Macau in March and finished runner-up.

CHARL SCHWARTZEL. Schwartzel is making his first start of the fall after playing an important role in the Stinger GC finals run. The South African played in the International Series Morocco in July, posting a T10 finish.

CALEB SURRATT. The youngest Legion XIII player showed enormous growth in 2025 and will look to build off the recent success. He finished T32 at the Alfred Dunhill Links earlier this month and will be making his third International Series start of the season, with the previous two resulting in finishes of T61 (Macau) and T31 (Japan). In 2024, Surratt had three top-3 finishes on the International Series.

PETER UIHLEIN. Uihlein has been a regular on the International Series with 11 starts under his belt. He won both the International Series Qatar and International Series England in 2024. He also has a 2nd place finish in Thailand and a 3rd place finish in Morocco. The RangeGoats GC big hitter has made one start since the conlcusion of the LIV Golf season, finishing T99 at the Alfred Dunhill Links.

This week, the Torque GC captain has officially joined the field for the Australian PGA Championship, which will be played a week earlier at Royal Queensland. “Playing two weeks in Australia will be a great way to end the year,” Niemann said. “It’s a fantastic place to play golf. I have great memories from playing in Australia over the years, especially after winning the Australian Open in 2023.

“The support I’ve had from Aussie fans has been awesome, so I can’t wait to get back and compete again.

“The Australian PGA Championship has such a strong history and reputation. To have my name on that trophy one day would be something really special.”

Niemannwill be joined by two of his Torque GC teammates Carlos Ortiz and Sebastian Munoz.
