LIVGolf.com’s newest feature, LIV Golf Watch: The Week Ahead, tracks the participation of LIV Golf players in tournaments around the world during the offseason, as well as provide a roundup of notes regarding the league’s players and teams. This week, two LIV Golf players are in action on the DP World Tour for the FedEx Open de France.

FEDEX OPEN DE FRANCE

The Open de France will move away from Le Golf National for the first time since 2001, with the course being closed for renovations. This year, the tournament will be hosted by Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche located just west of Paris near the Château de Versailles.

Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche, a par 71 measuring 6,977 yards, is a tree-lined parkland layout designed by Fred Hawtree in 1959. Known for previously hosting the Open de France in 1982 and the Trophée Lancôme from 1970 to 2003, it features wide fairways, undulating terrain, deep bunkers, and a few sharply sloping greens that promise a tough but fair test for players.

Brooks Koepka. Koepka is playing on the DP World Tour for the third consecutive week. He missed the cut at both the Amgen Irish Open at The K Club and last week’s BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club. The Smash GC captain struggled throughout 2025 and is clearly looking to find his game by teeing it up early and often this fall. Koepka hasn’t played in a French Open since the 2014 Alstom Open de France where he missed the cut.

Adrian Meronk. The Cleeks Golf Club star will also be making his third consecutive start on the DP World Tour after missing the cut at both the Amgen Irish Open and the BMW PGA Championship. Meronk played in one French Open, the 2022 Cazoo Open de France, and played well, finishing T11.

Patrick Reed finished T3 at the BMW PGA Championship, outperforming all 11 members of the European Ryder Cup team in the field. Reed posted rounds of 69-68-69-66 to finish at 16-under, three strokes back of the playoff between Alex Noren and Adrien Saddier.

- At the BMW PGA Championship, two LIV Golf players finished inside the top 10 (Reed and Tyrrell Hatton) and five inside the top 20 (Reed, Hatton, Tom McKibbin, Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann).

- At Hatton’s pre-tournament press conference at Wentworth, he shared a hilarious story about how he paid a steep price for going overboard on his team championship celebration alongside his Legion XIII teammates.

-At last week’s Procore Championship on the PGA Tour, United States Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley spoke about Bryson DeChambeau’s efforts in bonding with his Ryder Cup teammates.

"He’s been incredible," Bradley said. "He’s been more than willing to go above and beyond for this team. I think it’s a testament to what a good teammate Bryson is. ... He’s going to be a huge asset for us. Obviously from the standpoint of how good of a player he is, but also he’s fun to be around, he’s great to the younger guys. It’s fun for us to see Bryson in an atmosphere outside the golf course as well."

-Collin Morikawa also praised DeChambeau’s efforts, saying that the Crushers GC captain has made trips to be with the team on multiple occasions.

"Not just this week, he’s made efforts to come out to other meetings and other dinners as well," Morikawa said. "It shows that he just cares. Like I said, I think this whole individual aspect, we’ve all thrown that out the window and we will all do what it takes to be with the team. ... So to have him there yesterday, being around the team, hanging out, like they’re all positives for us. I think the more we can all be together, which we’ve already been, the closer we’re going to be and the more comfortable we’re going be to."
