LIV Golf Promotions delivered high intensity and career-defining moments at Black Diamond Ranch in Florida this week, with the top 10 finishers earning coveted playing opportunities on The International Series next season.
While Richard T. Lee, Bjorn Hellgren and Anthony Kim secured the three coveted LIV Golf cards on offer, the Promotions event also opened the door for the next wave of talent, awarding full International Series cards to top-10 finishers not already exempt, granting them the opportunity to compete across the enhanced Asian Tour schedule in 2026.
All three LIV Golf qualifiers are familiar figures on The International Series. Lee is the 2024 BNI Indonesian Masters champion, Hellgren has competed in every International Series season to date, while Kim featured prominently during the latter stages of the 2025 campaign as he sought to reclaim his LIV Golf status through the Rankings pathway.
Joining them next season will be a mix of established names and returning contenders eager to make their mark across the global circuit.
After four demanding rounds in Florida, five additional players emerged from the top 10 to secure their International Series cards for 2026.
Christopher Wood - Australia
Christopher Wood continued his strong run of form with a closing 67 to finish tied eighth on two under par. The Australian arrives on The International Series as the current top-ranked player on the PGA Tour of Australasia, having claimed two victories on the circuit, most recently at the NSW Open in November 2025.
“Finishing top 10 is always great, but to be rewarded with starts on The International Series is a big bonus,” Wood said. “It’s probably the next best thing to getting one of the LIV spots. I’ve never played The International Series before, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
Lucas Bjerregaard - Denmark
Lucas Bjerregaard finished tied fourth at four under par, adding another chapter to a career that has already included two DP World Tour victories, including the 2018 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews. The Dane, who once defeated Tiger Woods in match play and climbed inside the world’s top 50, now turns his attention toward opportunities on The International Series.
“Right now, I’m a little disappointed because I was aiming for one of the three LIV Golf cards,” Bjerregaard said. “But I’ve heard a lot of good things about The International Series, so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like.”
Cory Crawford - Australia
Australian Cory Crawford also secured his place for 2026 after finishing tied eighth at two under par. The 2024 Victorian PGA Championship winner said earning an International Series card was his primary objective coming into the week.
“It feels really good,” Crawford said. “Realistically, that was my main goal coming into this week. If I could earn a spot on The International Series, I knew it would be a really successful week. Of course, a LIV spot would have been amazing, but to come here and tick that box means a lot.”
Crawford is no stranger to the circuit, having competed during the inaugural International Series season in 2022.
“I travelled with Travis Smyth every week and had a great time,” he added. “The events were excellent, good golf courses, strong setups, so I really wanted the chance to come back and play them again.”
Oliver Bekker – South African
South African Oliver Bekker, an eight-time Sunshine Tour winner who finished tied eighth overall, had already described earning an International Series card as “a win” earlier in the week, as he prepares for a move to Australia and looks to build his schedule around the region’s elevated events.
“Playing The International Series is a big opportunity,” Bekker said. “Especially with us moving to Australia, it makes a lot of sense from a travel and scheduling perspective. I thought before the week started that earning a card here would be a win for me.”
Takanori Konishi - Japan
Japan’s Takanori Konishi rounded out the group after posting a two-under-par total across the final two rounds. Fresh off victory at the MAEZAWA CUP 2025 on the Japan Tour, Konishi converted his Promotions appearance into a full International Series card for next season.
The remaining players inside the top 10 including Jeunghun Wang, Sarit Suwannarut, Kieran Vincent, Jazz Janewattananond, and Matt Jones had already secured International Series eligibility and are expected to make strong returns to the Series in 2026.
