MIAMI – The winning team at this week’s 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship will earn a $14 million first-place prize from the total purse of $50 million.

Prize money for all finishing positions was announced Tuesday in anticipation of the season-ending event that starts Friday on the iconic Blue Monster course at Trump National Doral.

Each of the 12 LIV Golf teams will receive a different prize amount based on their finishing position. Of the total amount, 60% will go into the team’s account, while each player on the four-man roster will receive 10% of the remaining portion.

For the $14 million first-place prize, that means the team share is $8.4 million, with each member of the winning team receiving $1.4 million.

The Team Championship utilizes match-play competition for Friday's Quarterfinals and Saturday's Semifinals, then stroke play for Sunday's Finals.

Unlike last year, when just the four top teams competed on the final day, all 48 players among the 12 teams will be in action Sunday, with every score counting.

The four winning teams from Saturday's Semifinals will compete for places 1 – 4, with the teams eliminated in the Semifinals competing for places 5-8. Teams eliminated in Friday's Quarterfinals will compete for places 9 through 12.
