Tyrrell Hatton was T16 before Rd. 3 was suspended due to fog at The Renaissance Club. Five LIV Golf players in all will look to close strong on Sunday.

Round 3 of the Genesis Scottish Open was suspended on Saturday due to dense fog. Seventeen players were still on the course and will complete their third rounds early Sunday before Round 4 begins.

Tournament officials held players for 25 minutes before suspending play, eventually resuming at 1:10 p.m. with revised tee times, but the late start has pushed the round beyond what daylight remained.
Cleeks Golf Club’s Victor Perez, who entered the weekend as the LIV Golf player with the most at stake given the Open Qualifying Series implications, had played 10 holes of his third round before play was stopped. He is 1 over on the round, 6-under overall and tied for 25th.
Perez will return Sunday morning to complete his third round with a spot in next week’s The Open Championship up for grabs. The top three finishers on Sunday who are not already exempt for The Open will earn entry into the field. For Perez, the chance to reset after a slow first half of his round may be an opportunity to refocus heading into his final 26 holes on Sunday.
Of the five LIV Golf players still competing at The Renaissance Club, Tyrrell Hatton had made the biggest move on Saturday. The Legion XIII star completed his third round with a 3-under 67 to move to 7-under overall and T16, which is tops among the LIV Golf players heading into Sunday.
After a slow start to the week, Hatton has strung together three strong rounds and may very well be within striking distance of the leaders, depending on how they finish their third rounds Sunday morning.
His Legion XIII teammate Tom McKibbin also completed his third round, bouncing back from Friday's 1-over 71 with a 3-under 67 to climb to 5 under and T32. The Northern Irishman has rediscovered some of the form that made him the LIV Golf story of Round 1 when he shot 3-under 67 in tough conditions.
Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm posted a 2-under 68 to sit 4 under and T44, while Majesticks Golf Club’s Laurie Canter carded an even-par 70 to remain at 3 under and T50.
