Schwartzel has a permanent place in LIV Golf history as its first individual winner at the inaugural event in London. His victory also helped the all-South African Stinger GC to the first team title. Schwartzel shot to fame when he reeled off four consecutive birdies to win the 2011 US Masters and has 16 worldwide wins since turning pro in 2002. He has spent more than 440 weeks in the world top 50 and followed up his London win with two more top-10 LIV Golf finishes in Chicago and Jeddah.

WINS (1)
2011 Masters – Birdied the final four holes to win by two strokes over Adam Scott and Jason Day at Augusta National ... Emerged from a pack of contenders in a final round in which eight different players held a share of the lead ... His 66 was the low score in the final round ... Became third South African to win the Masters (Gary Player, Trevor Immelman) ... Said Schwartzel: "It's a dream for me. It's obviously the highlight in my golfing career by a long way. You know, I always thought if there was one that I would win, it would be this one. This is the sort of golf course that suits my eye."
