Equipment changes for LIV Golf Virginia

Multiple stars, including Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia put new clubs in the bag at Robert Trent Jones GC

GAINESVILLE, Va. — Prior to the start of LIV Golf Virginia presented by Maaden, 77 equipment changes were made at Robert Trent Jones Club.

Here are the notable changes:

Bryson DeChambeau: Swaps irons —the 3D Avoda Golf Prototypes are out, and his new LA Golf Bad V3-W are in.

Phil Mickelson: Has officially joined the 7-wood movement and adds a Ping G430 Max 7-wood to his bag, dropping the Ping Anser hybrid.

Sergio Garcia: Swaps putters from the iconic Toulon Rochester to the TaylorMade Spider X.

Dustin Johnson: After testing 4 drivers, Johnson has decided to use a Titleist GT2 driver this week. He was previously using a TaylorMade Qi35.

Richard Bland: The 52-year-old is making his fourth driver change this season and will now be using the Titleist GT3.

Anthony Kim: Switches putter to a Scotty Cameron Fastback (his third putter change this year) and changes golf ball from ProV1x25 to ProV125.

Danny Lee: Replaced his Titleist GT2 3-wood with a Titleist GT280 mini driver.

Jon Rahm: Switches wedges from Callaway Jaws to Callaway Opus SP Pro.

Lee Westwood: Has replaced his Ping PDL Putter with a Ping Sigma 2.

Paul Casey: Overhauls his full iron set for the second time this season. Now playing Titleist 620CBs instead of Mizuno G-Forged 1025E.

Tyrrell Hatton: The Englishman goes back to his Ping G430 driver and switches shafts from Fujikura Ventus Red TR 6X to Mitsubishi Diamana D TB 70-TX.
