LIV Golf players are set to take on their steepest challenge yet in Sentosa Golf Club at Aramco LIV Golf Singapore. The course is extremely demanding and will ask players to be sharp in every aspect of the game. This week, there are 51 club changes and there have been 351 changes recorded year to date.

Here are the notable equipment storylines and changes this week.

Bryson DeChambeau

Category: Wedges (50°, 56°)
Change: PING S159 50° → Bettinardi HLX 5.0 Forged
Change: PING Glide 4.0 56° → Bettinardi HLX 5.0 Forged

Notes: Major wedge switch aimed at improving spin control. The 50° wedge is bent to 49° and the 56° wedge is bent to 54°. This is a key short-game adjustment for the Crushers GC captain on Sentosa's tricky greens and approached.

Jason Kokrak

Category: Irons (4–5)
Change: Callaway X Forged → Titleist T250

Notes: Moves the 4- and 5-iron into the Titleist T250 for added control. This builds on his multi-category tweaks from Hong Kong, refining mid-bag performance for better precision on the strategic Serapong layout.

Lee Westwood

Category: Irons
Change: PING i230 → PING i240 Notes: Returns to the PING i240 irons after injury. Last used early 2025. The Majesticks Golf Club co-captain gets back to a familiar setup following his top-20 return in Hong Kong.

Thomas Detry

Category: Wedges
Change: Callaway Opus → Callaway SP

Notes: Makes wedge change to generate additional spin. Detry enters with strong momentum from runner-up in Hong Kong; this tweak complements his all-Callaway woods/irons bag for enhanced short-game versatility.

Tyrrell Hatton

Category: Driver
Change: PING G430 → PING G440

Notes: Driver head broke during the pro-am prompting the switch. A reactive but timely move to the newer model for better stability off the tee.

Danny Lee

Category: Putter
Change: Scotty Cameron T 9.5 (Broomstick) → Callaway Odyssey Jailbird Mini CH AI-Dual

Notes: Switches both putter model and setup moving away from a broomstick configuration. Aims for improved feel and consistency on Sentosa's undulating surfaces.

Sergio Garcia

Category: Driver
Change: Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond → Titleist GT3
Category: Driver Shaft
Change: Attomax Pro Atom Black X → True Temper Project Titan Black 70 TX

Notes: Back-to-back tournament driver and shaft changes. The Fireballs GC captain continues to dial in his long game to build team momentum at a venue where his squad has performed well historically.

Sebastián Muñoz

Category: Putter
Change: PING Vault 3 → L.A.B. Golf DF3

Notes: Back-to-back putter changes and moves from broomstick to standard length. Seeking better alignment and stability on the greens.

Tom McKibbin

Category: Putter
Change: Callaway Odyssey Ai-One Rossie CH → Callaway Odyssey AI-Dual DW

Notes: Second putter change in four events. Ongoing search for optimal performance early in the season. McKibbin has lost more than four strokes putting in each of his past two starts.
