BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — As the first round of LIV Golf Chicago kicks off at Bolingbrook Golf Club, a total of 30 equipment changes have been recorded for this week’s field, including reserve players. With the Individual and Team Championships in sight, players are fine-tuning their gear to prepare for the challenge of Bollingbrook Golf Club.

Here are the notable changes this week:

Dustin Johnson : Swaps his TaylorMade QI10 3-wood for a TaylorMade R7 Quad Mini Driver. The move suggests DJ is prioritizing versatility off the tee to navigate Bolingbrook's tight fairways.

Bryson DeChambeau: Switches golf balls from Titleist Pro V1x to Titleist Pro V1x Double Dot. This ball made headlines last week when Cameron Young used the ball to win on the PGA Tour.

Ben Campbell: Replaces his Titleist Scotty Cameron T-7 Tour Use Only putter with a T-9.5 Tour Use Only.

Paul Casey: Overhauls his iron set for the third consecutive event, moving from Titleist 620 MB to Mizuno MP-5.

Branden Grace: Switches drivers from PING G440 to TaylorMade Qi35.

Richard Bland: Marks his third consecutive driver change, swapping a Srixon ZXI for a Titleist GT2.

Thomas Pieters: Changes driver shaft from Mitsubishi Diamana WB 73 D to Fujikura Ventus Black 7X.

Sergio Garcia: Swaps putters for the fourth time this season and third consecutive event, moving from Titleist Scotty Cameron TG6 Circle T to Del Mar 3.5, which he’d used often in past years.

Sebastian Munoz: Replaces his full iron set, switching from PING i210 to PING i240, likely chasing enhanced forgiveness and distance for Bolingbrook’s long par-4s.

Anthony Kim: Switches drivers from Callaway ELYTE Triple Diamond to Titleist GT.
