Although Rahm was able to stage a thrilling comeback to win the season-long title, he fell short of winning LIV Golf Indianapolis, losing out in a playoff to Torque GC's Sebastian Munoz. The Colombian earned his first LIV Golf victory with a final round 6-under 65.

Here is a last look at some of the notable performances from LIV Golf Chicago:
ROUND OF THE WEEK
Sebastián Muñoz delivered a historic performance in Round 1 at the Club at Chatham Hills, firing an astonishing 12-under 59. The 32-year-old Colombian turned a double bogey on the fifth hole into a record-breaking masterpiece, carding eight consecutive birdies from hole Nos. 6-13 to set a new LIV Golf record for consecutive birdies in a single round and made thirteen birdies in a fourteen-hole stretch to finish his round.
With 14 birdies in 18 holes. @jsmunozgolf beats the @GWR of the biggest amount of birdies ever recorded in a competitive 18 hole round. 🇨🇴🔥

CLUTCH PERFORMER
Throughout the week, LIV Golf data analysts gave Ian Poulter roughly a 10% chance to escape relegation, but the “Postman” overcame the odds once again to miraculously escape the Drop Zone. The Majesticks GC co-captain made birdies on four of his last five holes to sneak into the Open Zone, which unfortunately knocked teammate Henrik Stenson down into relegation territory.
UNDER THE RADAR PERFORMANCE
Charles Howell III: Howell III finished T11 after posting rounds of 69-63-66 and put together another solid season, ending the year 21st in the IIndividual standings, securing a spot in the lock zone.

Carlos Ortiz: After his incredible run at the U.S. Open where he finished T4, Torque GC’s Carlos Ortiz suffered a dip in his form, finishing T40 and T48 in his next two starts. After a T25 at JCB, Ortiz finished T4 at LIV Golf Indianapolis to put an exclamation mark on his fantastic season. Ortiz finished 8th in the individual standings.
Lee Westwood: Although his situation didn’t appear to be quite as dire leading into the week as his teammates Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood was certainly facing a great deal of pressure entering the week. The Majesticks GC co-captain got off to a slow start in Round 1 to put his Open Zone status in question. Over the weekend, Westwood shot rounds of 65-66 to finish T17, his second-best finish of the season.
STATISTICAL STANDOUTS
David Puig: First in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (+1.85 per round). It was a dominant display with the driver for Puig, who heads into the Team Championship in Michigan playing great golf. The Spaniard is one of the rising stars in the game of golf and can win on any course in the world that requires hitting it long off the tee.
Branden Grace: First in Strokes Gained: short Approach (+1.17 per round). Grace put on a master class in wedge play at the Club at Chatham Hills. The South African’s resurgence late in the season has been incredible, as he’s now finished in the top 5 in two of his past three events to close out the regular season.
Dustin Johnson : Second in Strokes Gained: Putting for the week (+1.70 per round). After a season full of putter uncertainty and struggles, Johnson put together a strong week on the greens which sparked his best finish of the season (3rd).
VETERAN RESURGENCE
Dustin Johnson : At 41-year-old, there were plenty of critics ready to write off Johnson. Although a third-place finish at LIV Golf Indianapolis doesn’t completely silence his critics, it does serve as a reminder that when he’s clicking on all cylinders, he can still go toe-to-toe with the best players in the league. He may not have won in 2025, but Johnson is far from finished.
YOUNG GUN SPOTLIGHT
David Puig: David Puig quietly posted rounds of 67-63-66 to finish T4, tied for his best finish of the season. The 23-year-old has now improved his place in the Individual standings in every season since joining LIV Golf (64th in 2022, 31st in 2023, 26th in 2024, 10th in 2025).

Thomas Pieters: Pieters put together back-to-back T8 finishes in Chicago and Indianapolis to secure his place in the Lock Zone (19th).
Fireballs GC: The Fireballs finished 3rd for the 3rd consecutive week and have now finished in the top 5 in six consecutive events.
QUOTES OF THE WEEK
“Extremely proud of that. I did what I needed to do today. I went out there, shot 60. Had one bad swing all day on 14 which cost me a bogey but gave myself the best chance. On 18 after hitting that close I definitely thought it was going to be a really good chance.” - Jon Rahm on his final-round 60
"Really proud. It was a season that I didn't have a lot of hopes for at the beginning. I put a lot of work in the off-season, but I wasn't trying to get a number in specific or win the Order of Merit or anything like that. But ending up fourth, it's a huge accomplishment.” - Sebastián Muñoz on winning LIV Golf Indianapolis and finishing 4th in the season-long standings
“It's kind of hard to swallow. But at the end of the day, I think it is what it is. I feel like it's going to put something inside me to kind of work harder and try to be in this situation again next year and make it different.” - Joaquin Niemann on losing the season-long race to Jon Rahm
“Obviously to win it all. We've done well enough all year long and we're playing good golf, so at this point it's actually just finishing it off, which is easier said than done because two rounds of match play is tricky.” - Jon Rahm on his goal for next week’s team championship
