Record-setting African Debut
More than 100,000 fans attended LIV Golf’s first event on African soil, making it South Africa’s biggest golf tournament. The host Southern Guards made a run for the team trophy and while they fell just short, the all-South African squad put on a show for the fans. Dean Burmester amped up the party at the Lion’s Den hole after hitting an outstanding drive, then greeted fans on his way to sinking a birdie.
