Here is who our experts (in alphabetical order) like this week in Dallas.

TEAM
Legion XIII – Legion XIII already has two wins and two second-place finishes in eight events this season, but it’s their history at Maridoe and the recent form of their star players make them such an intriguing pick.
Last year at this course in the Team Championship, Legion XIII reached the final and ultimately finished fourth, despite losing Jon Rahm to a last-minute illness.
This time around their captain is back, riding high on 21 straight LIV Golf top-5 finishes and a T7 at the U.S. Open. Tyrrell Hatton is also fresh off his best ever major finish - T4 at Oakmont.
If either of the team’s young guns - Tom McKibbin or Caleb Surratt - can get in the mix, Legion XIII should be in a familiar spot on the leaderboard come Sunday evening.
INDIVIDUAL
Bryson DeChambeau – Whether he’s dazzling the crowds in person or on his YouTube channel, Bryson DeChambeau has undoubtedly become golf’s greatest showman, and what better place to put on a show than in front of your hometown fans at LIV Golf Dallas presented by Aramco.
The Crushers GC captain, who lives just 20 miles away from Maridoe Golf Club, is on a run of four straight LIV Golf top-5 finishes - including a win in Korea - and he will be eager to prove his missed cut at the U.S. Open was just a blip on the radar.
Expect the hometown hero to get the job done down the stretch on Sunday with all eyes on him - just the way he likes it.

TEAM
Torque GC – Joaquin Niemann’s club has played 26 consecutive tournaments since their last team win … and yet, they’ve celebrated seven individual titles during that span, with the captain claiming six. Mito Pereira is the key – if he’s even just halfway solid this week, Torque GC should win by multiple strokes.
INDIVIDUAL
Carlos Ortiz – I vacillated between Carlos Ortiz and his Torque GC teammate Sebastian Munoz, who played well here last year and is among the best players without a LIV Golf win. In the end, Ortiz’s current form was the key factor, especially off his T4 at Oakmont.

TEAM
Ripper GC – The vibes are good for Ripper GC entering LIV Golf Dallas, and they stretch all the way back to 2024. The All-Aussie team won the Team Championship at Maridoe GC after entering the week as the No. 3 seed. They weren't the hottest team in the league entering that week, and they're not this week. But Ripper GC is right there, fourth in the team standings and confident after a victory at LIV Golf Miami and a second-place finish at LIV Golf Mexico City.
INDIVIDUAL
Lucas Herbert – Lucas Herbert is fifth in the current individual standings and loves Maridoe GC. He was at his best when his team needed him most in Dallas last season. Herbert notched a clutch semifinal win against David Puig in the semifinals and shot a stellar 69 in the finals. Captain Cameron Smith heaped praise on Herbert after the team hoisted the trophy, so expect Herbert's confidence to be brimming.

TEAM
Torque GC – Joaquin Niemann is having a dominant season so far in 2025, winning four of the right LIV Golf events. Niemann's teammates Carlos Ortiz and Sebastian Munoz rank 7th and 6th, respectively, in the individual standings. If Mito Pereira can contribute a few solid rounds to the team, Torque GC should find themselves with a chance to earn their first team title since LIV Golf Greenbrier in 2023.
INDIVIDUAL
Sebastián Muñoz – In terms of strokes gained, since the beginning of Sebastian Munoz is the best player on LIV who's yet to win an individual title at +0.90 per round. The Colombian played his college golf at the University of North Texas, which utilizes Maridoe Golf Club as their home course. Last year, he had the round of the week at the course in the LIV Golf Team championship, firing an 8-under 64 in the final round.
In his most recent start at LIV Golf Virginia, Muñoz gained 1.79 strokes per round on approach, which was his best performance in that category of the season.
This week, Muñoz has the course familiarity and the current form to get into the winner's circle for the first time on LIV Golf.
