Smash GC Captain Brooks Koepka was one of three players to withdraw with an illness or injury during Round 1 of LIV Golf Dallas presented by Aramco.
Koepka, who’s been feeling under the weather all week, was forced to pull out after playing eight holes. He was 6 over at the time. Koepka was replaced by Luis Carrera, who’s making his LIV Golf debut after enjoying success on the Sunshine Tour. Koepka is eligible to return for Rounds 2 and 3, with his score being counted only toward Smash GC’s team score.
WOLFF, KJETTRUP ALSO WD FROM LIV GOLF DALLAS
Matthew Wolff , who withdrew in his most recent start at LIV Golf Virginia, came to LIV Golf Dallas with the intent to play, but ultimately wasn’t ready to do so. The RangeGoats GC standout was replaced by Ollie Schniederjans prior to teeing off. Schniederjans also filled in for Wolff in Virginia.
Frederik Kjettrup of Cleeks Golf Club also pulled out prior to teeing off and was replaced by Max Rottluff, who has played primarily on the Asian Tour in 2025.
