SINGAPORE – In the final round of Aramco LIV Golf Singapore, Bryson DeChambeau defeated Wild Card Richard T. Lee in a sudden-death playoff. DeChambeau began the round one shot back of co-leaders Joaquin Niemann and Lee Westwood but shot a 5-under 66 amidst multiple rain delays to come away with the victory.
On the first playoff hole, Lee missed a short putt for par, giving DeChambeau the victory.

In the team competition, 4Aces GC pulled away for a comfortable victory, and have won for the second consecutive week, going back-to-back for the first time since LIV Golf’s inaugural season in 2022. Every 4Aces player came up big on Sunday, with Anthony Kim and Thomas Pieters shooting bogey-free rounds to give the 4Aces a five-shot victory over Ripper GC.

Here is a last look at some of the notable performances from Aramco LIV Golf Singapore.
ROUND OF THE WEEK
DeChambeau’s Sunday round was strong, but it was set up by his spectacular second round. Entering Friday, DeChambeau found himself tied atop a bunched leaderboard but then shot the round of the week (at the time), 6-under 65. His total score of 10 under gave him a three-shot lead entering the weekend, and he’d need each and every one of those strokes.
For the round, he finished with a total of six birdies, an eagle and the lone bogey on 15.
“Focus on my golf, what I can control,” said DeChambeau after Round 2. “I know it's cliche, but you can't get too wrapped up with what everybody else is doing and making sure I'm starting it on my lines the way I need to and rolling the putts on my lines like I need to. Barring that, I think I can give myself a good chance.”
CLUTCH PERFORMANCE
DeChambeau entered the back nine of the final round trailing Joaquin Niemann by three strokes. DeChambeau shot a bogey-free 2 under on the back nine while Niemann limped to the finish.
In the first playoff hole, DeChambeau pulled his tee shot out of bounds but managed to make a tricky up-and-down for par to keep his hopes alive.
🏆 Bryson's road to the title was not easy...

UNDER THE RADAR PERFORMERS
Richard T. Lee: Lee had his sights set on becoming the first LIV Golf Wild Card to win, and although he didn’t make history in that regard, he’s now etched himself into the record books as the Wild Card with the best finish on LIV Golf. He shot rounds of 67-68-69-66 to finish in solo second place. He was also one of only two players in the field not to take a penalty stroke.
Lee, the first Canadian to play on LIV Golf, utilized his course experience and success in the region to fuel him in an unforgettable effort at Sentosa.

Brendan Steele: HyFlyers GC have gotten off to a poor start in 2026, but Brendan Steele has been a lone bright spot for Captain Phil Mickelson’s squad. This week, he shot rounds of 70-71-67-69 to post his first top-10 finish (T10) since his win at LIV Golf Adelaide in 2024.

Bubba Watson: For the first time in his LIV Golf career, Watson started a LIV Golf tournament with five consecutive bogeys. Things were looking bleak for the two-time Masters champion, but he grinded for the remainder of his round to shoot a 3-over 74 and followed with rounds of 68-70-69 to finish in a tie for 28th.
Watson’s comeback to earn points could prove valuable as the season-long points race heats up.
STATISTICAL STANDOUTS
Lee Westwood: Westwood was the only player to gain strokes across all seven measured categories for the week. He ranked 6th in Strokes Gained: Approach (+5.34).
Bryson DeChambeau: DeChambeau had his best ball-striking week of the season. He ranked 4th in Strokes Gained: Approach (+5.68) and 4th in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (+3.89).
Jon Rahm: Rahm ranked 1st in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach (+10.54), which was his best approach week of the season. He ranked 53rd in the field in Strokes Gained: Putting (-5.29).
Matthew Wolff: Ranked 1st in the field in Strokes Gained: Putting (+9.55). It was the best putting performance of his career.
VETERAN RESURGENCE
Lee Westwood: Although he came up just short of making LIV Golf history in becoming the oldest player to win LIV Golf event, Westwood’s performance at Sentosa was exceedingly admirable. Just a month shy of his 53rd birthday, the Majesticks Golf Club co-captain dueled with some of the most talented in-their-prime superstars in the world in Joaquin Niemann, Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm.
It was only Westwood’s second start of the season after spending most of the offseason and first two events of the year rehabbing from a wrist injury. The Englishman’s solo third-place finish is his best to date on LIV Golf.

YOUNG GUN SPOTLIGHT
Josele Ballester: Ballester struggled in Round 1 at Sentosa, shooting a 2-over 73 that left him in a tie for 39th place with three rounds to play. The young Spaniard responded with rounds of 66-69-66 to finish in sixth, good for the best overall performance of the season.
Ballester is supremely talented, and it feels as if a signature LIV Golf moment is coming soon.
BIGGEST MOVERS
Here are the players who’ve made the biggest move in the season-long individual points race:
Lee Westwood: 44 spots from 54th to 10th.
Richard T. Lee: 19 spots from 26th to 7th.
Joaquin Niemann: 16 spots from 27th to 11th.
Josele Ballester: 15 spots from 39th to 24th
WHO'S TRENDING
Thomas Pieters: Thomas Detry has been such a strong addition for the 4Aces that it’s almost overshadowed just how well his teammate and close friend Thomas Pieters has been playing. Like Detry, Pieters has finished in the top 10 in three of his first four starts of the season which includes a third-place finish in Hong Kong; his first ever LIV Golf podium finish.
Pieters has the current form and powerful game to be a major threat at Steyn City next week.
Thomas Detry: Detry has finished in the top 15 of three of his four LIV Golf starts and an integral part of the 4Aces back-to-back victories. He now heads to South Africa where he’s had success over course of his career. The Belgian has been a fantastic addition to the 4Aces and one of the early stars of the LIV Golf season.

Matthew Wolff: The LIV Golf season has provided some incredible sotrylines this season and the resurgence of Wolff certainly falls into that category. The 26-year-old has three consecutive top-15 finishes and has now gained strokes on approach in four consecutive events for the first time since 2020; a season that saw Wolff win on the PGA Tour and finish runner-up at the U.S. Open.
Matthew Wolff led the first round of Aramco LIV Golf Singapore in Strokes Gained: Approach (+4.98) and has gained strokes in the category in each of his first three starts.

QUOTES OF THE WEEK
Bryson DeChambeau on Richard T. Lee’s missed playoff putt ...
"It was a bit of shock for sure. I thought he was just going knock it in, and okay, on we go. He had been playing great golf. He's beaten me numerous times throughout the season already when I've played with him, so he plays great golf, and he deserves to be out here. Honestly, he deserves to be on a team after this performance. But it was sour for sure to see him miss that. You never want to see that happen. I wanted to go another hole and have a chance to play great golf on that second playoff hole. Just unfortunately didn't go his way today, and that's just the way the cards sometimes fall.”
Dustin Johnson on 4Aces GC earning back-to-back team victories ...
"All four of us are playing really solid. Obviously, AK won in Adelaide, really helped the team there. We got a podium finish there, third. Then obviously we all played well, Thomas and Thomas played really good last week. Me and AK, we played really solid, which is what it takes to get victories out here. Yeah, all four of us are playing really nicely. So that's how you win.”
Lee Westwood on his third-place finish ...
“Really proud. I've obviously had a few things to deal with. Obviously, the wrist injury was not ideal coming into the season between Saudi and Australia and then got stuck in Dubai and got to Hong Kong late, so I had to time change to deal with, not much practice. I felt like I was swinging it well but little golf coming into Hong Kong. I played well last week and then followed it up by playing great this week.”
Lee Westwood on playing in the final group ...
“It was brilliant. It's a while since I've been in the final group when it's meant something. I was just really trying to play my own game because I'm out there with a Bryson and Joaco, two of the longest hitters in the world. So I'm playing first a lot and just trying to win my tournament, really, which made it a little bit easier because I just tried to hit as many fairways as possible and as close to the flag as possible to give myself chances because I know I'm not going to overpower this golf course playing with the two guys that I did.”
Richard T. Lee on missing the short playoff putt ...
“There's some slick putts out there. There's some little lies out there. It was a short putt and I wanted to just hit it hard, and I hit it a little too hard. I think the adrenaline was pumping a little bit. Then again, I felt like I had it this week. I played really well. Hopefully next week I can try again.”
