LATIN AMERICAN MULTI-PLATINUM ARTIST SEBASTIÁN YATRA TO PERFORM SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25 AT LIV GOLF MAYAKOBA

The chart-topping multi-platinum singer/songwriter will entertain fans at Mayakoba on Saturday, February 25 to conclude day two of the three-day tournament, which will also feature live entertainment on Friday night. Fans attending the league’s kickoff event will experience a full weekend of LIV Golf’s supercharged action; elite competition on the course paired with world-class entertainment off course.

Grounds passes for the tournament start from MX$676 (USD $35) per day and are all-inclusive of the live performances and fan activities, alongside witnessing the star-studded field of 48 of the world’s best battle it out. One of the most diverse golf courses in the world, Mayakoba’s El Camaleón will host LIV Golf’s first event in Latin America. For the last 16 years, El Camaleón has been home to the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba (formerly the Mayakoba Golf Classic) and will now welcome LIV Golf’s global field with 12 established teams featuring many of the game’s best players including major winners Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia, Patrick Reed, Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson, Louis Oosthuizen, Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer, and Charl Schwartzel.

FAN ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION

Fan festivities for LIV Golf Mayakoba begin on Friday, February24 at 11 a.m. local time when gates open to welcome guests of all ages to the variety of unique activations on site. Parking is free, with on-site lots opening at 10 a.m. all three days in advance of the tournament’s 1:15 p.m. shotgun start on Friday and Saturday and 1:00 p.m. start Sunday.

Grounds passes will allow fans to walk the course, watch the tournament from select viewing platforms and grant entry to the interactive Fan Village – an immersive area featuring varieties of food and beverages, league and team merchandise and a specially-designed LIV Kids Zone for the youngest fans to relax and play. Golf-themed games and interactive experiences will engage fans of all ages throughout the day, while giant video screens will broadcast the tournament so fans don’t miss a minute of the action.

LIV Golf’s Impact Zone will feature an opportunity for guests to relax in an eco-friendly setting. Guests can charge their cell phones by peddling a bike, watch a 3D printer create golf tees from recycled plastic, and chip golf balls into a target to raise money for young people in need of education, employment or training support. In addition, young leaders from award-winning, global non-profit organization Fútbol Más will offer fans the opportunity to participate in sport-led educational activities, demonstrating how golf can be used as a tool for social change. Guests will be able to add pledges to the “Futbol Mas Green Card” to show how they can contribute to building a positive community.
