The 2026 LIV Golf season starts next February under the lights in Riyadh, and in the next few months, we’ll take a detailed look at each player competing next season. Next up is Fireballs GC's Abraham Ancer.
LOOKING AHEAD
Ancer has one LIV Golf win, which came in Hong Kong in 2024. The Mexican is certainly a top-20 player in the league and has the capability to earn another individual win next season. Ancer has been a mainstay in the Lock Zone but has yet to finish inside of the top 10 in the season-long standings. As a short but accurate hitter, he should have the chance to contend at plenty of LIV Golf events on the schedule next year including Adelaide, Hong Kong and Singapore.
LOOKING BACK
Ancer was a dependable mainstay for the Fireballs, finishing the year just outside the top 10 in the standings. He posted three top-10 finishes and led the team with eight finishes inside the points (top 24). Ancer contended in Adelaide (T2) and Andalucía (3rd) and ranks among the league's most consistent fairway finders. While he'd preferred to have capped his strong season with an individual win, Ancer established himself as a reliable team contributor, consistently delivering valuable points.
