LIV Golf Mexico City: The Final Push Before LIV Golf Fantasy Gets Even Bigger

Just like when Jon Rahm faces a must-make putt, it’s time to focus when it comes to your LIV Golf Fantasy team. The action is heating up as Phase 1 wraps and Phase 2 gets ready to start.

LIV Golf Mexico City is your final chance to win a new set of golf clubs and secure your LIV Golf Fantasy Phase 1 score, making the competition at Club de Golf Chapultepec more than just another tournament.

And while the urgency to finish strong is real, the incentive to stay involved – or even join for the first time – remains regardless of your current position.

Remember, Phase 1 includes the first six events, but only your top four scores will count toward your Phase 1 total. That opens the door.

Had a slow start? You’re not out.
Missed an event? Doesn’t matter.
One strong lineup in Mexico can still boost you up the leaderboard.

And then there's the fact that the top fantasy player across Events 1–6 will get a brand-new set of golf clubs, rewarding both consistency and those who finish strong.

The same applies to what happens after Mexico. In the overall game context, this isn’t a reset. Your Phase 1 total carries over as your starting score for Phase 2.

So every point you earn in Mexico could carry over — and could make the difference when the competition gets tighter.

But there is a reset of sorts because the top scorer in Phase 2 (over events 7-13) will receive a brand-new iPad Pro, giving new players a great entry point.

They’ll need to adapt to the new strategies as LIV Team selections are introduced and MVP multipliers are added. This creates more opportunities to distinguish yourself from the contenders.

It’s no longer just about selecting players — it’s about how you use them.

Mexico City is your pivot point.

Lock in a strong score now, and you gain momentum into a more strategic Phase 2.

Miss it, and you’re chasing.

Either way, you’re still alive. But this is your best chance to take control.

Set your lineup for Mexico City now.
