RangeGoats GC captain called the meeting a 'dream come true'

Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse was more than just a thrilling matchup between the WNBA’s Indiana Fever and the Atlanta Dream—it was a crossover of sports stardom. RangeGoats GC captain Bubba Watson was in town for the Fever’s second game of the season, and he couldn’t pass up an opportunity to meet Fever superstar Caitlin Clark before tip-off.

And the two-time Masters champ didn’t show up empty-handed. Knowing Clark’s love for golf during her time away from the court, Bubba brought along a special gift: one of his own iconic pink drivers, personally signed by the man himself.

Bubba, who’s no stranger to the spotlight, admitted to being a little starstruck himself. “A dream come true … for me, not her,” he gushed. The LIV Golf star even shared his WNBA connection with Clark – his wife Angie played in the league for the Charlotte Sting.

Unfortunately for Clark, the pre-game meet and greet didn’t translate into a win as the Fever lost to the Dream 91-90, but Clark finished the game with an impressive stat line – 27 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds.
