Top two finishers awarded full-season spots in the 2026 LIV Golf League

Top 10 finishers, including ties, also earn full exemption into the 2026 International Series

LIV Golf Promotions 2026 will take place at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida on January 8-11, 2026. Official practice days for entrants will be January 5-7, 2026. 

The Event will consist of four rounds of 18-hole stroke play, with the winner and runner up of LIV Golf Promotions gaining entry into LIV Golf League for the 2026 season, determined as follows:

  • Round 1 (Thursday) – 18-hole stroke play, Top 20 and ties advance to Round 2 

  • Round 2 (Friday) – Scores reset from Round 1, 18-hole stroke play, Top 20 and ties advance to Rounds 3 & 4 

  • Round 3 (Saturday) – Scores reset from Round 2, 18-hole stroke play 

  • Round 4 (Sunday) – Scores carry over from Round 3, 18-hole stroke play (play-off only as needed to determine winner and/or second place)

In the event of a delay in completing one or more of the scheduled Rounds, January 12 may be used as a full or partial playing day in order to complete the competition.

Prize Money

Total purse of $1,500,000 to be awarded as follows: 

1st $200,000 

2nd $150,000 

3rd $100,000 

4th $75,000 

5th $50,000 

6th $45,000 

7th $40,000 

8th $35,000 

9th $30,000 

10th $25,000 

11-20 (and ties) $17,500 

Players completing Round 2 but not advancing for Round 3: $10,000 

Players completing Round 1 but not advancing for Round 2: $5,000 

Players must complete each Round in full to qualify for prize money. 

Amateurs will receive $1,000 regardless of finishing position. With any prize money for finishing top 20 donated to LIV charity of choice. 

Eligibility Criteria

All prospective entrants must complete an online entry form by December 15, 2025 at 5 p.m. US Eastern Time. The required entry fee of $25 will be donated to a charity chosen by LIV Golf League. 

Only the following golfers will qualify for entry. Entrants in Category A qualify for LIV Golf Promotions and will play in Round 1; of these, only the Top 20 and ties from Round 1 will advance to Round 2.  Entrants in Category B receive a bye into Round 2.  

All successful entrants will be notified by December 16, 2025.

Category A: Qualifiers for Round 1

  1. 2025 Walker Cup and 2025 Palmer Cup players  

  1. Runner-up of the following last played amateur events in 2025:  

  • US Amateur Championship  

  • The Amateur Championship  

  • Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship  

  • Latin America Amateur Championship  

  • European Amateur Championship  

  • African Amateur Championship  

  • NCAA Championship (Individual)  

  • Eisenhower Trophy (Individual)  

  1. Leading 15 available players from within the top 50 World Amateur Golf Rankings as of December 15, 2025 (excluding those players exempt into round two)  

  1. Leading 25 available players from within the top 40 on the final 2025 International Series Rankings (excluding those players exempt into round two)  

  1. Winners of Asian Tour, Japan Golf Tour, KPGA Korean Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia and Sunshine Tour sanctioned tournaments in the 2025 calendar year (excluding those players exempt into round two)  

  1. Leading 30 available players from within the top 300 Data Golf Rankings as of December 15, 2025 (excluding those players exempt into round two)  

  1. Invitations as determined by LIV Golf League  

Category B:  Exemptions into Round 2

  1. Top 15 players from World Amateur Golf Rankings as of December 15, 2025  

  1. Winners of the following last played amateur events in 2025:  

    • US Amateur Championship  

    • The Amateur Championship  

    • Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship  

    • Latin America Amateur Championship  

    • European Amateur Championship  

    • African Amateur Championship  

    • NCAA Championship (Individual)  

    • Eisenhower Trophy (Individual)  

  1. Leading 10 available players from top 20 on the final 2025 International Series Rankings  

  1. Leading available player from each of the following professional Tours as of December 15, 2025  

    • Asian Tour  

    • Japan Golf Tour  

    • KPGA Korean Tour  

    • PGA Tour of Australasia  

    • Sunshine Tour  

  1. Winners of PGA Tour and DP World Tour sanctioned tournaments in the 2024 and 2025 calendar years  

  1. Leading 10 available players from within the top 30 of the final 2025 DP World Tour and Korn Ferry Tour Order of Merits / Rankings  

  1. Leading 20 available players from within the top 100 of the final 2025 PGA Tour FedEx Cup standings  

  1. Leading 30 available players from within the top 150 Data Golf Rankings as of December 15, 2025  

  1. Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup participants from 2021 – 2025  

  1. Winners of Major Championships from 2021 – 2025  

  1. Players relegated or without a contract for the following season from the final 2025 LIV Golf Individual Standings  

  1. Invitations as determined by LIV Golf League
