SUPERLATIVE WEEK 2025: Driver | Approach (Oct. 7) | Short Game (Oct. 8) | Putting (Oct. 9) | Scoring (Oct. 10)
Here’s a look at the driving superlatives that defined the year.
LONGEST DRIVES-INDIVIDUAL (all drives)
Club de Golf Chapultepec, the venue for LIV Golf Mexico City, sits at 7,800 feet above sea level, where the altitude boosts driving distance. As a result, three of the top five longest drives during the 2025 LIV Golf season hailed from this event.

LONGEST DRIVES AT EACH TOURNAMENT
Each golf course challenged LIV Golf players in different ways. Here are the longest drives from each tournament in 2025.
SEASON DRIVING AVERAGE-INDIVIDUAL (on measured holes)
2025 marks the first time Joaquin Niemann has led the league in average driving distance. The leaders in the four previous seasons were: Bryson DeChambeau in 2022 (327.1), Peter Uihlein in 2023 (322.5) and DeChambeau in 2024 (323.0).

FAIRWAYS HIT-INDIVIDUAL
Henrik Stenson hit the most fairways during the 2025 season, but his stellar driving accuracy failed to make up for his struggles on the greens, which contributed to his relegation.

STROKES GAINED: OFF THE TEE-INDIVIDUAL
Strokes Gained: Off the Tee measures a player's performance on tee shots compared to the average performance of other players in the field. It quantifies how many strokes a player gains or loses relative to the field based on factors like distance, accuracy, and the resulting position of the ball.

DRIVING AVERAGE - TEAM
Here are the LIV Golf teams who drive it the furthest on average on measured holes (two holes per tournament are selected to record official length of drives.) Legion XIII had three players in the top nine in season-long average, so it’s no surprise the team leads the league.

FAIRWAYS HIT-TEAM
Majesticks GC topped the LIV Golf teams in fairways hit during the 2025 season, thanks in large part to the strong driving accuracy of their tri-captains: Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter, and Lee Westwood, all of whom ranked inside the top 24 among full-time players in the category.
|
STROKES GAINED: OFF THE TEE-TEAM
Fireballs GC excelled in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee with all four players: David Puig, Sergio Garcia, Josele Ballester and Abraham Ancer ranking inside the top 12 among full-time players in this category.
|
ACCURACY PERFECTION
There were nine total rounds in 2025 where a player hit every fairway for their round.
|
Talor Gooch held the longest streak for most consecutive fairways at any point during the 2025 season.

MOST 400-YARD DRIVES
Here are the players with the most 400-yard drives of the 2025 season. DeChambeau and Niemann, who sit atop the league in average driving distance, lead the way with the most 400-yard drives of the season. Caleb Surratt had only two drives of 400-plus yards, but they were 2 of the 3 longest drives of the year. His third longest drive was 397.5 yards.
