LIV Golf League Team Recognized with Third Consecutive LIV Golf Impact Award and Shortlisted for Sports Industry Award

LONDON – Majesticks Golf Club today released its 2025 Impact Review, showcasing the continued expansion of the team’s community initiatives, strategic partnerships and youth engagement programmes across the United Kingdom.

Central to the club’s community efforts is Little Sticks, Majesticks Golf Club’s flagship grassroots initiative designed to introduce young people to golf while building key life skills including resilience, teamwork and respect. The programme works closely with schools, teachers and local organisations to integrate golf into physical education and youth development programs.

The newly released impact report highlights marquee new partners whose collaboration with Majesticks Golf Club is delivering meaningful and impactful experiences for young golfers and communities across the UK. Through partnerships with leading organizations including Cherwell County Council and Newcastle United Foundation, Majesticks Golf Club is broadening access to the game and delivering impactful experiences for young people.

Majesticks Golf Club’s community work has earned significant recognition across the sports industry; the team was recently shortlisted for a Sports Industry Award (SIA) and received the LIV Golf Impact Award for the third consecutive year, in recognition of the continued growth and measurable impact of the Little Sticks program and the club’s broader commitment to community engagement. These honors highlight the growing role Majesticks Golf Club is playing in using golf as a platform to create opportunity and inspire the next generation.

“Our focus has always been on building something with purpose beyond the competition,” said Jordan Stephenson, Majesticks Golf Club’s Head of Impact and Culture. “The growth of Little Sticks and the strength of our partnerships reflect a long-term commitment to increasing access, developing key life skills and creating meaningful opportunities for young people across the UK. This is about investing in the future of the game in a way that delivers real, measurable impact.”

Since its launch, the Little Sticks programme has grown rapidly into a nationally delivered initiative. In 2025 alone, the programme reached 226 schools and directly impacted more than 24,000 young people through curriculum-based delivery, with plans to expand into 125 more schools nationwide by 2026 and reach over 42,000 participants. The initiative focuses not only on introducing golf but also on developing transferable life skills. Participating schools receive equipment, structured lesson plans, teacher training and ongoing mentorship support, enabling long-term integration within physical education curricula and ensuring sustainable impact across diverse school settings. Across participating schools, the programme has already demonstrated measurable impact; data collected from students shows 78% reported increased confidence in achieving their goals, 78% improved listening skills, and 85% identified golf as an inclusive sport, underscoring the role golf can play in supporting youth wellbeing and development.

Additionally, across the 2024/25 academic year, the Little Sticks programme is projected to generate an estimated £22.5 million in lifetime social value. This impact is driven primarily by strong outcomes in mental health and education, including improvements in life satisfaction and reduced risk of depression, alongside meaningful gains in employability and educational attainment.

Representing a distinctly British identity within the LIV Golf League, Majesticks Golf Club features a roster that includes Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Laurie Canter and Sam Horsfield, and has made community impact a central pillar of the team’s mission. Majesticks Golf Club continues to expand access to the game while helping young people develop confidence, resilience and teamwork skills through golf.
