ESPAfter turning pro to join LIV Golf, Chacarra tapped into his enormous potential to win in just his fifth start, claiming a three-stroke victory in a dominant performance in Bangkok. No one who had seen the Spanish youngster as an amateur was surprised, given that he was ranked No. 2 in the world during his college days at Oklahoma State.
Just four events later, Chacarra won our Bangkok tournament by three shots to record his first win as a pro – and surely not his last.
Won the LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok in just his fifth professional start
Made his pro debut at LIV Golf Portland after ranking as the world No. 2 amateur.
Two-time All-American at Oklahoma State University.
Finalist for both the Ben Hogan Award and Haskins Award for top collegiate golfer.
In 14 starts as a senior in 2021-22, he won three times with seven other top 10 finishes.
Before turning pro, played in multiple professional tournaments across multiple tours, making one cut.
Younger sister Carolina is also a collegiate golfer (Wake Forest).
