About the Course
At a Glance – Asiad Country Club
Asiad Country Club (아시아드CC), located in Busan, South Korea, is a premier championship golf facility originally built for the 2002 Asian Games and later redeveloped into LPGA International Busan, making it one of the most globally recognized golf venues in Asia.
The course is set within a natural landscape featuring varied terrain, strategic bunkering, and modernized green complexes, making it both visually appealing and tactically demanding. It combines accessibility for everyday golfers with the complexity required for professional competition.
Originally opened in 2002, the course underwent a major redesign in 2019 led by renowned architect Rees Jones, elevating it to professional tournament standards. The redesign focused on improving playability for all skill levels while maintaining a high level of challenge for elite players. Today, the course serves as a host venue for major international tournaments, including the LPGA BMW Ladies Championship, and is recognized as the first LPGA-branded facility outside the United States.
